Beneath the balloons!
mixed media
Hi there! Hope you had a great weekend. brrrh.. cold and rainy weather we're having the last few days–yuk. Today this piece is inspired by IF's topic "Beneath". So many ways to interpret this word I decided to keep it light and sweet. This also falls under my Dog Day Tuesdays! Every year it seems we are surprised by beautiful hot air balloons passing our home. So random is this sighting that neighbors come out in the street, people pull over their cars to take photos and me well, I'm usually scrambling to find my camera. I suppose I could look up this event if indeed it is an event or perhaps its a large (20+) family scheduled for their rides – either way, it would be neat to watch them all out in an open field bobbing up and down.. maybe next year.

Estamos a mano ja ja.
Well, I hope you understand everything that I wrote (on purpose, in Spanish, haha)
A kiss

ReplyDeleteOh, I am just LOVING all your doggies! The beautiful portraits with the bubbles....heaven. Simple lines and calm colors let the beauty and personalities of the dogs shine through. And this image with the hot air balloons thrills me! I absolutely adore hot air balloons. Those uniquely-shaped ones are incredible! I would love to go up in one someday. How lucky you are to have them fly by your house!
